Rare treat for me! You don't get snow very often in Alabama. It's wet and sticky too. Might go play in it later!
About time all this rain turned into something nice. I don't think we've had more than two dry days this year. It's been raining every day, if not all day long. My chunk of the state is under a flood warning. And yet the weatherman complains we are behind in our rain for the year already. What? We gotta swim to work before this chowderhead is happy?
The only bad thing is tonight is grocery shopping night. Milk and bread is on the list. There probably won't be any because every time it snows, everybody runs around in little frantic circles because the sky is falling and they buy out all the milk and bread. WHY, I don't know. It'd make more sense to buy out all the canned goods. Sure ya can stick milk in the snow to keep it cold if your power goes out, like it did in the blizzard of '93, but that's not very likely. Unless some idiot crashes into a power pole because they've never seen ice that wasn't in their drink before and decides to stomp the gas or brakes. Or another idiot cuts firewood, but instead of picking one of the hundreds of trees in the woods, he picks the tree next to the power lines. Why can't the power ever go out for normal reasons? Like branches heavy from ice snapping the lines or the lines snapping themselves heavy from ice?

I would have to completely agree with you about the two idiots, one with a car and the one chopping wood. Seems like there's at least one of each in this area, lol!
I remember the bad snow storm we had a few years ago here. It got bad and there were only a couple of accidents, but alot of down power lines due to ice.
I think I might remember that one... Driving during that weather was not pleasant. Some would barely top 10mph, others wouldn't drop below 60mph. Scary stuff.
I just hope all this that's happening now doesn't get that bad!
